Located in the heart of South Park Valley, Bar Star Ranch is the ideal place to experience the best of what Colorado has to offer. The Ranch is 1.5 hours southwest of Denver just off of HWY 285 in the grass lands of the rocky mountains.
Bar Star Ranch is the best Private Ranch in Colorado and a family-owned working cattle ranch that raises all-natural grass fed, grass finished beef. We take great pride in careful management of the land to prevent overgrazing and create a balance with local wildlife. Being good stewards to the land is just as important as raising quality livestock. We come from five generations of cattle ranchers and use wholesome techniques to raise our cattle and horses.
Besides raising livestock, one of our passions is protecting open space to preserve the natural and historic beauty of South Park. Family-owned ranches are slowly diminishing because of the expense involved. We are grateful for our partnership with several non-profit conservation funds that make it possible for us to protect South Park’s legacy as a ranching community.
